Promoting International Tourism Through Sister Cities: At the June 5, 2019 City Council meeting, Scott Myer spoke on the need for increasing international tourism in Palm Springs for the benefit of the entire City; he suggested that the City participate in the Sister City Program and adopt a Sister City, noting that even the cities of Temecula and Palm Desert participate in the Sister City Program.

Settling 1090 Claims Lawsuit Against Development Company: At the July 10, 2019 City Council meeting, Scott Myer voiced support for settling the 1090 Claims against Palm Springs Promenade and Grit Development, but without the provision requiring the City to construct a new library in the downtown with a specific development company.

Empowering Residents to Rename Local Streets: At the June 19, 2019 City Council meeting, Scott Myer suggested that residents could be empowered to rename some local streets; he suggested that Tramview Road could be renamed to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard if the residents approved.
